Taco Bell had an Apple like Keynote event, and you should too!

Maybe you should love your business as much as Taco Bell loves theirs. Over the Super Bowl weekend, the fast food restaurant, Taco Bell did something none of us probably thought they would do, or would even need to do. They took the stage in Las Vegas, to hold a live event called Live Más Live. If you were watching it you might have thought they were holding the next Apple Keynote event. 

They opened the show talking about the history of Taco Bell, what their mission is, and how they plan to bring the best fast food service to their fans. Now, the whole reason they were there was to unveil new menu items that will be coming out this year, so they teased that they would be sharing those new meals at the end, but before they got there, they gave a behind the scenes look at their test kitchen. They explained how they have come up with some of their menu items in the past, and also some of the ideas that they had in mind, but ultimately didn’t come out the way they envisioned they would. 

After that was a small award ceremony celebrating some of their fans that showed love to Taco Bell last year via social media. When the awards were finished they finally unveiled what everyone wanted to see, the food!

So what’s the point of me talking about this? What does this have to do with you? Are you going to be hold a big live event like Apple or Taco Bell? Probably not, but maybe you should start thinking about IF you would, what would that look like? What would you talk about? What are things you are working on?

See my point? If you want to grow your business you have to start thinking like these big businesses.

“I’m not in the tech or food industry.” or “What I do isn’t as exciting.”

Then make it exciting. Social media is the best way to let people know who you are. You probably have some ideas already of what you would do or show at your live event, but if you don’t then that probably means you need to think about what your company story or mission is, and who your audience is.
